About the Event
Volunteer Opportunity: Help Us Add the Finishing Touch 💜
Join us this Saturday, March 7th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Stamford JCC as we add hand-sewn labels to our One Tough Cookie no-sew blankets. These blankets will be gifted to individuals going through cancer treatment, and the labels are the special finishing touch that lets each recipient know the blanket was made with love and care.
No sewing experience is necessary! We will have someone there to guide and instruct anyone who needs help, so beginners are absolutely welcome.
We are currently looking for 3–4 more volunteers to help with this meaningful task.
RSVP is required. Once we receive your RSVP, we will confirm if a volunteer spot is still available.
Your time and helping hands will help turn these blankets into warm reminders that someone is thinking of them.
